The Leaves Have Fallen: Night Out OOTD

Has it been a while or what ? I hope you didn’t miss me too much. Have you been watching my videos on my YouTube channel? If not, go check them out. Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE too!

I decided to share a FALL INSPIRED look for you guys before Winter hits us in the face completely (but it already has). The colors are a transition from fall to winter actually, but its fit for the cold season anytime around, especially having a night out with the girls.

Time and time again I am amazed by some of the things I find in a Thrift store, and guys when I say both pieces of items were bought there, they were! I call this outfit the three c’s, why? Because both top and bottom are cool, cozy and cheap.

The top has a silk look with a rectangular shaped pattern that has a mesh see through within each grove of the shape. It doesn’t show too many skin so you still get that almost sophisticated look. The skirt has a tribal/floral look (with pattern, leaves, flowers), it makes me feel like a Strong Black Proud African Woman that makes me want to burst out dancing, but doing a power pose at the same time.

The skirt was a long straight skirt which I end up tying a knot at the left side to give it and my look a more slender and stylish look. I paired this outfit with a light brown, sometimes gray (depends on lighting) high heel chunky platform boots. The hair was sleeked back in a bun and jewelry was just simple accents here and there.
