Hobbie: Travel ✈
I love to travel. It gets me all excited and appreciative.
But what about it that gets me so psyched ❓❔
It’s just flying from one place to another with a tonne load of hassles.
I am an appreciative observer so I might sound like I am exaggerating 👀
I flew from Jamaica to Miami and it opened my eyes. Now being a tourism major this gave me a breath of fresh air and part realization to why I chose to major in this area.
Fist thing first to love about any flight is the breathtaking view you get from up there thousands of feet in the sky day or night and you get this warm feeling as you look out on earths beauty it’s just perfect.
For those who have never traveled via airplane here is a taste of that view.
So high above the clouds you feel “Hakuna Matata” 💆 no worries 💆.
For those who have traveled, have you ever taken the time out to really look out the window and take in the view? If not, next time you travel you should.
Secondly, when I landed in Miami the view of the airport was so alive. Landing at any international airport as a matter offact. Especially on the runway, so busy but so together.
Have you ever seen ants trying to move a piece of food or seen them just walking back and forth from their nest. 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 everything they do is so organized. That is what it looked like and it gave me an alive feeling it makes me thirst for more. When I was a little girl I loved to see planes, whether they are flying, landing, taking off, parked or even just on the runway being taxied. It excited me and now even as a young adult (I think it’s safe to say adult) I still get the same feeling. As I said before, I am currently majoring in hospitality & tourism management in university and when I saw this it sparked a fire in me. I said to myself I can’t wait to graduate and get to be hands on in this field.
Lastly, the people you meet.
I must say I met some very interesting and lovely people between Jamaica and Miami. I even helped an old man on the plane, funny enough he wasn’t supposed to be beside me. His seat got mixed up with another man with similar name as his and it was his first time flying. This made me feel so good inside words cannot explain.
The experience and knowledge that you gain on each trip is wonderful. You have got to appreciate the things around you. You would be surprised at the things you see that has been around all along.
