I’m back with another Fashion post for you guys. The other day I went to Brunch with the family at NEGRIL VILLAGE in Atlanta. This is a Jamaican Restaurant, and it was pretty cool. They had an upstairs and downstairs which each had its own little theme going on. Downstairs they played Jazz type of music, and upstairs (where I went) was the buffet which had its own live DJ who might I say was banging some good Caribbean music. Though sometimes I felt I was at a Southern Reunion. I almost always find myself taking a bunch of pictures when I go the city because it is always beautiful.
The family decided to walk from my Uncles Apartment Complex to the restaurant. Though it was a bit windy we thought it would be fun, you know a little walking won’t hurt. Plus on the other hand it gives me and my brother enough time to snap some pictures while we’re at it (lol). The first set were those on the go, live in action snaps just walking on the sidewalk. I love those kind of pictures, other than them being cool, they say much more than the obvious of someone taking a picture of me walking on the sidewalk.
Am I walking towards or away from something? Am I scared or am I now free?
On Christmas Eve I went to this local store called FELLAS, which has sort of become one of my new go to stores. I’m not one for the high end brands, I mean, I do have them, but low ends are fun for me too. They sell the same things most of the time and they solve the same purpose, so why not? The jacket I got was from Fellas, and I loved it the first time I tried it on. The part I love most is the bottom where when fixed perfect flares off (like omg, thats stylee). It separates it from being just a normal black winter jacket. The only thing I would change about it (occasionally) would probably be the silver zip, but I love it all the same.
While on our way to the restaurant me and my brother came up on this building with brick walls which I had to make him snap some pictures of me. I love brick walls as backgrounds, they give the picture edge while allowing you to be the center of it all. Your the part that’s different because your adding more interest.
I wore my Black sweater (thrifted) with tiny white polka-dots which also kind of reminded me of little droplets of snow (lol) and I thought it would be perfect for this day out in the city. Its comfy, and that’s exactly what i’ll need after eating. I paired that with a black belt and my high-waist jeans which I got from a store called New Square and my high black boots from Payless, and my dark teal/blue colored scarf from Walmart!
Here I was at a school, and for some reason I have come to the conclusion that school is a fun place to film or take pictures because they have pretty awesome places. This area of the school made me want to chill with bae, and just have a good time with all the reflective glass windows, wooden trees and benches I just loved. Yeah, people passed by, and they stared, but who cares?
I love street lights, and trees in winter. The kinds that look like the ones in the next picture. Yes, they may have that horrific look, but I enjoy seeing them. They remind me even trees go through things in life, but it’ll get better. The day was fun, from having walked in the windy whether, to taking pictures infront of buildings, and in train station, well, on the escalator, and- that one was a video (lol) it was fun and I can’t wait to go back so I can take better and more awesome pictures for you guys.
I hope you guys liked this blog, and I’ll see you in my next one!
